Theatre Helden

Theatre Helden was formed in the summer of 2007 by Drew McCabe and Becky Globus. Theatre Helden’s mission is to provide Western New York with new and interesting theatrical works, and more importantly, to put the fun back in theatre. Their productions have included: ‘The Physicists’ by Dürrenmatt, at the Alleyway Theater in June 2007; ‘Oedipus Rex’ by Sophocles in September 2007, and the sketch comedy show ‘Buffalo Pleasure Night,’ both presented at the Main Street Cabaret in January 2008; and ‘Buzz’ by Nick Hirsch / ‘The Orangutan Man Knocks at Midnight’ by Drew McCabe, presented at the ALT Theatre in February 2008. ‘Hop-Frog’ concludes this company’s first season. Theatre Helden will return for a second season next year with a number of productions, currently in the planning stages.
