The Cast

It is difficult to find words to describe what a pleasure it has been to work with this dedicated, professional, and talented cast. The dramatic construction and rehearsal process for this production was based upon improvisation. The adaptation script was approximately six pages in length and served to provide a skeleton upon which the actors sculpted the flesh. To the untrained observer, the process may seem like chaos but is really an intensely creative time for the actors and directors. Actors were encouraged to find their characters and reason for being on the stage. The directors then refined the characters created by the actors and assisted them in refining their performances. In this process the script becomes a road map for director and performer.
I wish to offer a heartfelt thanks to my fellow director, Drew McCabe, for taking me along on this wonderful creative journey, and to this company of actors which I have had the pleasure of directing. Their imaginations and creative talents have never ceased to amaze and thrill me. A big hug and kiss to all of you for making my job so easy! I learn something new and wonderful each time I work with you.
