Arin Lee Dandes

Arin Lee Dandes plays the title role of Hop Frog. This is my first time working with Arin and I am sorry that our paths have not crossed sooner as she, like the rest of this talented cast, has been a pure joy to work with. Arin's performance is truthful and emotionally evocative.

Arin will be a senior BFA Music Theatre major at the University at Buffalo, where she is also an honors student. A Buffalo native, Dandes graduated cum laude from the Nichols School in 2005. UB credits include ‘City of Angels’ (Gabby/Bobbi), ‘Pride and Prejudice’ (Lady Lucas), ‘Berlin to Broadway’ (Soprano), ‘She Loves Me’ (Customer), ‘Merrily We Roll Along’ (Scotty/Mrs. Spencer), and ‘Myths & Hymns’ (Ensemble). Other credits include Carrie in Colloquial Theater’s ‘Carousel’, ‘The Laramie Project’ with the UB Student Guild, Maria in ‘Pope Joan’, and Voice/Jane in ‘Buzz’ / ‘The Orangutan Man Knocks at Midnight’, both directed by Drew McCabe. In the winter of 2004 Dandes performed as a vocal soloist with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Paul Ferington. She has performed the National and/or Canadian Anthems for the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bisons, and UB Bulls, as well as other venues around Buffalo.
