This is my blog of the Theatre Helden's production of a Drew McCabe adaptation of Hop Frog by Edgar Allen Poe. The production is being staged at the Alt Theatre located in Buffalo, New York in late May and early June 2008. The work has been co-dircted by Drew McCabe and Mark F. Tattenbaum, M.F.A.

Mark F. Tattenbaum, M.F.A.
Mark F. Tattenbaum holds an M.F.A. and is a Ph.D. candidate in American Studies at the University at Buffalo, specializing in theatre and film. He is an award-winning artist working as a director, actor, dramaturg, producer, playwright, and poet. He has recently completed a Fulbright Senior Scholars project at the Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Theatre Academy, Department of Puppetry and Directing in Bialystok, Poland. Current research projects include: Elia Kazan, An American Director; The Turn From Communism; We’re Saying Goodbye To Them All: An Investigation Of The Crash of The B-24 Bomber ”Honkey Tonk Gal” Near Ploesti, Romania, August 1st, 1943; and Water Puppetry in Viet Nam.
